I'm very desperate for help in finding & stopping a company located in Cyprus...Yes, Cyprus! I've never done business with any company located in Cyprus (which is a small island located near Syria). In around 04/05 I cancelled my MSN acct. & switched to yahoo/sbcglobal. After many calls and several months of still being billed for monthly dial-up service, I called the MSN "help" line in 09/05. The issue was supposedly resolved, but since then I've continued to be billed the $19.95 each month through my bank acct. The charges come through from a company called "BFLpay.com", located in Cyprus and the phone numbers don't work, and the email address is totally bogus. It's a SCAM! I had to have my bank re-issue me a new bank card in 11/05, but sure enough in December another chg. showed up on my statement for another $19.95. I have no idea how they obtained the new number, but I am getting very worried. The reason I'm relating this entire thing to MSN is that the amount being charged is the same amount I was paying for dial-up service while I had it through MSN....PLUS, I think the "customer service help" line is located somewhere in the middle east or in India.
Has anyone else had any similar problems with this happening to them? Any suggestions or help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.
