MS 2006 Money--Pls reply

I downloarded MS Mny 2006--now 13 hrs later, it says "update in progress. "

When I go to uninstall it, the message is "You will be unable to access your money files [U]even[/U] if you have money installed"

Anyone else run into this problem? Your help is appreciated :confused:
