Using webcam with yahoo
 

I am trying to use my new camcorder as my webcam. The connection that I am using is camcorder firewire to laptop firewire configuration. When I launch yahoo messenger and try to connect to the webcam I get the following error:

1) Can't find webcam :confused:
2) yahoo messenger can't handle the large image :D

This configuration works well with MicroSoft messenger. Then, when I try to change the webcam source it is grayed out and unavailable to me. I have tried everything on the yahoo help pages and nothing works.

Then, I submitted a customer service ticket to yahoo and got a response back that someone would contact me within 24 hrs. I have not been contacted at all, so I send in another ticket without any response. Can anyone in the forum help guide me? :mad:
