James, you can disable call waiting on your telephone by pressing *67 before dialing any number (aside from 800 numbers which disable call blocking). But, I doubt the number is real. I just Google'd the phone number and nothing came up. I would call him if you really want to, but I doubt the guy has any connection. I would be happy you got your account back.
