When I got a new computer at work, only job-related programs were transferred over. I had to download Yahoo Messenger but unfortunately was not able to download the older version of it from the Yahoo site. Instead, I was only able to download with new version of Yahoo Messenger with Voice and frankly, it sucks. Personally, I don't need all these extra bells and whistles as my need for Messenger is pretty basic. But my main problem is that this version locks up quite often, freezes up my internet access a minimum of 4 to 6 times during the course of a workday and really, I can't stand it.

Is there anyway to download an older version? Is there anyway I can email the older version I have at home to my job email and download it from there. I'm a little challenged in this area and would really appreciate all the help I can get here.

This new version is so frustrating. It even froze up twice will I tried to register to and post on this site this morning,

ARRRRRRGH!
