Honda City, Liverpool NY poor service
I recently brought my Passport to Honda City in Liverpool, NY to have a problem checked out with the Check Engine light, and rough idle. $485 later, new computer, new spark plugs and intake manifold gasket. 2 weeks later, check engine light came on again. This time it was $185, and a new shut valve. Cuiously, the radio worked just fine when the car was dropped off at 7am. When the car was picked up, the radio did not work. The dealership told me it would cost $160 to repair. Something happened to the radio when the dealership worked on the car. I was given a song and dance about condensation buildup inside the vehicle when it was brought in from the cold. Then the Service advisor changed his story and said the radio was on when the technician went outside to bring the vehicle in. I am 100% certain that the radio was off when I turned the ignition off. So, what happened? Only the dealership knows the answer. Something happened, and I am currently without a radio. This is the most bizarre treatment I have ever received from a car dealer.
