Default What can a person do???

A friend of mine had someone go in and put her name and complete directions to her home on her Yahoo profile. Can something be done legally? She knows who did it.

Sounds like your friend could get this removed by calling up someone at Yahoo. I am sure they are very sensitive to privacy issues.

Exclamation Friends Profile--Yahoo Can Remove it

Hello, an e-mail can be sent to reportabuse@yahoo-inc.com, specific details need to be included like the ID posting this and the URL, a letter could also be sent to Yahoo's legal department, I don't know the fax number, but I'm sure if you get a lawyer or a police officer call the head office at 1-408-349-3300 and ask what the fax number is to the legal department, Yahoo will have no problems with that and this is a fast way of getting the information wiped off that profile.

Hope this helps.
