Default Lost account? but used creditcard on yahoo services, then you are homefree

Hi all

I lost my account a year back. The same old story, it was phished/hijacked.
I lost all hope of getting my account back, EVER. Yahoo wouldnt do nothing to help me and my personal info was ofcourse changed.

Today i read in another forum that yahoo now have an option re. creditcards, under the function where you try to retrieve your password to yahoo email. (which also happends to be the same for messenger and the other services).

I happened to have used my old creditcard for a yahoo service.

Typed in my card number, yahoo id, and my birthday. Vupti, in less than a minute, it gave me the option to hand myself a new password.

Unreal.. my email account had expired because of inactivity, however the rest is there.

Hope this can help others.

Mikael

Default Very thankful

Dude I just had to register to tell you thanks. I thought I'd never get my account back! You helped out a ton. I'm also glad I memorized my CC # so long ago lol.
